James Hirons Care Home Leamington Spa is a classic Victorian home in a peaceful residential area of Royal Leamington Spa. We are close to the vibrant town centre and all local amenities, while still offering residents a calm and secure environment. The house retains its original period charm, including a magnificent lounge with a plasterwork atrium, alongside tasteful modern extensions that ensure safety, comfort and accessibility.

With lift access to all floors, chair lifts on staircases and wheelchair-friendly entrances, our home is welcoming and inclusive for everyone. Three spacious lounge areas provide opportunities for companionship, activities or quiet relaxation – including a cinema-style TV lounge for shared entertainment.

At James Hirons Care Home Leamington Spa, we know that personal, private space matters. Our 23 single-occupancy bedrooms are individually decorated and furnished to a high standard, with most offering en-suite facilities. Residents are encouraged to bring their own keepsakes, pictures and small furniture items to make their rooms feel truly their own.

• Option to install private telephone lines
• Lift and stair-lift access to upper floors.

Every resident receives a full pre-admission assessment with our Home Manager to ensure we understand their needs and preferences. From this, we create a personalised care plan that respects independence, dignity and individual choice.

Mealtimes are a highlight of life at James Hirons Care Home Leamington Spa. Our split-level dining room has a warm, restaurant-style atmosphere, with tables set for companionship. Residents can enjoy delicious, home-cooked meals made with fresh local ingredients, prepared daily by our in-house catering team.

Our kitchen holds a 5-star Food Hygiene rating from the local council, reflecting our commitment to quality. Special diets are always catered for, and relatives are welcome to join for meals at a small charge.

Two bright conservatories open onto our extensive, landscaped gardens, which have regularly won Leamington in Bloom awards.

Highlights include:

• A large terrace for summer teas.

All gardens are fully wheelchair accessible, with surfaced paths for independent or supported use. Residents enjoy the peace, beauty and freedom of outdoor living right at their doorstep.

A dedicated Activities Team ensures there is always something engaging to do. Weekly programmes include:

• Exercise classes, quizzes, knitting club and arts and crafts
• Live musical entertainment and drama groups
• Horticultural therapy and aromatherapy sessions

Religious services and pastoral support are also available, with regular visits from local clergy and monthly communion services.
